Our communication task was to demonstrate to targeted press and public via customer cases that e-vehicles and fast-charging are viable and most progressive technologies of today. Additionally, to increase public openness and interest in electric vehicles and the connecting infrastructure and raise ABB’s brand awareness in Hungary.
Momentum organized a press conference where e-mobility, and possibilities of fast-charging infrastructure for electric vehicles were discussed. Some government officials also attended the event, among others the Deputy State Secretary of Ministry of National Development.
The event’s keynote speaker was the Head of Estonian NOW's Mobile Mobility Solutions who presented the milestones of developing the nationwide fast-charging network in Estonia: its financing and technical requirements, a model of a network successfully operating in the country for two years then.
The Manager of EV Charging Infrastructure Europe at ABB Product Group introduced European EV overview and international trends in e-mobility by presenting the current European and Chinese situation.
ABB's local e-mobility expert demonstrated how a nationwide electrical networking network looks like. He pointed out the factors necessary to spread the daily use of electric vehicles in Hungary.
Momentum’s responsibility was to handle media, invite and brief them, organize press interviews.
There were 19 journalists from trade, energy, business, general and environmental media outlets attending the press event, and 40+ articles appeared in the press. Following the event, Momentum arranged several interviews for ABB executives and the invited e-mobility experts.
